Summary
There’s nothing to suggest that Toji feels the same inexplicable pull that Megumi does.
Logically, it makes sense that Toji doesn’t. They’re father and son, but they may as well be strangers with how Toji has drifted in and out of Megumi’s life. Megumi doesn’t need to be dependent on someone else, let alone open himself up so someone else will depend on him — but there’s nothing logical about his all-consuming anger when Toji moves to stand up.
Mine, an unrecognisable voice snarls in the back of Megumi’s mind. Pin him down. Make him stay. Make him mine.
