His first thought, hilariously and perhaps teetering on the edge of insane, was how the compartment looked like a crude recreation of The Shining, blood smeared across brown wall paneling and contrasting horrifically against silver handle bars, an equally as terrifying splatter of red all over the white tile to boot. His eyes followed down the trail that led from the wall straight down to the floor, falling onto a familiar body.
Eddie laid there, slumped back against the wall. His shirt was notably missing, instead bunched up and limply pressed into his side by blood-stained hands. Pressed into the side of a bloody chest.
