Summary
In a split second, Bakugou ran under the light, extending his arms under the falling rubble of metal, planning to blast it away as he had done with the rubble that Uraraka had rained down on him. Nothing came out of his palms. In panic, he pushed someone out of the way. If someone were to get hurt, at least it would only be him as he tried to help others. He crouched quickly, the moment passing in slow motion, and crossed his arms above his head, eyes squinted in the anticipation of a hit to the skull.
There was a hard thump, as if a meteor had fallen from the sky and simply landed like a rubber ball, and then a shattering that was glass-like. Nothing impacted him. His eyes opened in confusion. An orange aura broke away above him, dispersing and disappearing, a glow around his wrists appearing as well. A civilian who he had not gotten the chance to move away faced him, eyes wide in shock, breath released in relief. “What was that? Did you do that?” The man asked, smoke escaping his mouth through yellow, decaying teeth. His cigarette was still lit. He was wearing a usual businessman's black suit, red tie popping in color, with slicked back, well-kept hair.
