Chapter 1: Bread (OC’s POV/ Aaron’s POV)
I ran down the street, hoping that I wouldn’t get caught by the baker’s Arcanine. The Arcanine was fast, but new to these streets. I raised my hand up to the sky as if I was trying to grip the sun. “Garchomp, Staraptor! I need you both to mega evolve and show your strength to the world!” A bright flash was created because of the mega energy. Garchomp and Staraptor had been flying above me in case I needed help. Staraptor attacked first, he swooped down, and the Arcanine barely avoided his aerial ace. Staraptor flew back up as Garchomp swooped down to use Earth Power. Jagged precipices shot out the concrete. I continued running until I reached an alleyway. I climbed the fire escape and got onto the roof. I carefully opened my bag and released all my pokemon as Staraptor and Garchomp landed. I fed everyone the bread I stole. Hisuian Arcanine, Garchomp, Staraptor, Tinkaton, Ceruledge and Houndoom all devoured the bread and pastries, and when they were done, I quietly ate the other half of the baguette I had been saving. It was stale and crunchy, but I ate it anyway. I sat at the edge of the roof, dangling my legs off the edge. I wanted to see everyone who was passing by.
