   Summary

   A human soul can only handle so much strain.
   After splitting their soul with Chara so that they could live in the surface with their family, Frisk begins to experience complications that are making them fall ill, mainly, the very essence that makes up their soul is struggling to hold itself together.
   Chara knows the two of them may not have much time left together, and vows to make their last months more special than Frisk could ever hope.
   But when they're gone, how will Chara pick up the pieces of their own soul that Frisk left behind?
