Rosalie tensed for a brief second, then relaxed between the two women. Tanya’s voice was full of warmth and respect. “You were so brave, Rosalie. I know how much that night in 1933 still haunts you. The fact that you let yourself be vulnerable like this… that you trusted Isabella enough to feel pleasure again… I’m in awe of you. Truly. You faced your trauma and chose life. That is strength most of us can only dream of.”
