Summary
When the God of Death became who he was, he struggled to hold the spirit world well together especially with the sealed god and the hunters messing with him. His friend or who the god calls his dongsaeng, helped GoD by ruling the world for him giving GoD less of a burden, thus the origins of the Spirit King. However due to a war between the gods, the friend used most of his strength to help seal the sealed god causing him to go into a long slumber cause the king damaged his soul. Since the king played a huge role in the war the gods agreed to allow the king to transmigration and reincarnation till he recovered, which would take thousands of years.
The king went into many bodies, slowly regaining his strength as he remembers each life, he enjoys each one of it. However, when he was being reincarnated into a new body, due to a certain curse his soul was pushed out and forced into another world. This caused an emergency protocol to activate and lock his memories as the spirit king and he lived the life as Kim Rok Soo. This was until he was 36 when he was suddenly teleported to a white space.
