    Summary

After a letter from Xing addressed to Edward Elric—and originating from none other than "Emperor Greed"—makes its way to Roy's mailbox, Roy sends Edward forth to a far country beyond the desert sands. What he's expecting thereafter is to receive information about the homunculus' miraculous return from Fullmetal. A status update. Instead, he receives correspondence from Prince Huo, one of Ling's many siblings.

They'll need to pick up some allies along the way, but Roy and Riza haven't had this much time alone since before Ishval, and things are... different than they used to be.

⧽ Royza focused companion fic to 'Your Back Hand's Made of Gold.' If you require additional context, you will find it there.
