Work Text:
It was the 22nd day of the 5th month,
The air was crisp. It was a few days before Memorial Day, the day he would focus on.. her. Just her.
"Telamon!" A voice shouted.
...
"Yes, Clockwork?" Telamon called back to him.
"We've got another one!" Clockwork sighed.
His wings fluttered at Clockwork's words. After 4 years, we have another sword!
He went to Clockwork's workshop, where he was in charge of forging the Ghostwalker. Telamon couldn't forge that one with his abilities, but Clockwork could make it.
The deity stared at the blade in awe. It had finally been made thanks to his assistant.
"Telamon thanks you, Clockwork!"
"You're welcome,"
"But be warned, this sword can cause many things to happen to the wielder."
"You have intrigued Telamon. Tell me, what can this blade do?"
"Well, hallucinations can occur. Hallucinations of.. loved ones.. deceased loved ones, that is."
"Loved ones? Like Telamon's dearest?"
"Yes, even her,"
"So be careful when giving the mortals the ability to wield this blade.."
"Telamon promises to be careful with the Ghostwalker."
...
"And keep that promise."
