   Summary

   Eight months ago, Rook talked Solas down from a desperate attempt to fix his old mistakes. Since then, Solas has been under the Inquisitor's watch, tasked with working to solve the problems he helped create. He has been exploring the world he has resigned himself to, looking for slaves to free, history to uncover and things he can put right. Rook has isolated herself from the rest of the world, licking her wounds by day and picking them back open at night, trying to forget the way her heart was thoroughly broken.

   That is, until one of Solas' excursions goes horribly wrong, and he ends up without his magic and injured, healing in Rook's cabin in the forest, throwing both their lives into chaos.
