   Summary

   Shadow Lord Maul discovers there are equally important things to finding a new apprentice and is forced to practice things he has never had to before: saving, comforting, protecting. For once he finds himself wanting to help. Rescuing the life of a nearly dead female that crash-landed on Janix was not on his list of priorities. Not in the least. But he must find a way for her to survive, for if she does, she might help him destroy his enemies. If the Empire does not find out about her survival first and finish what it has already started.

   Or: Maul finds out that there is more to life than revenge and hate.

   This fictional work happens at the same time as the new Maul:Shadow Lord series. The outcome for the Season 1 Finale remains unchanged.
