These days, Minho's morning sickness is getting worse. Not just in the morning, she gets nauseous a lot at night too that sometimes she can't sleep. Seungmin is beyond worried and wants to bring her to the doctor but she insists that she can handle it.
One day, Seungmin decides to take a leave from work to take care of Minho while handling Yongbok's daily routine. So, after he gets home from sending the little girl to school, Minho appears with an answer.
"Babe, stay there for a bit" she commands, and Seungmin stays at the front door after taking off his shoes. Minho is standing in front of the kitchen so they are literally apart from each other. She looks annoyed, somehow.
"I think I'm allergic to your perfume" she assumes. Seungmin furrows his brows right away, doesn't even understand where that idea comes from at first.
"What? You were never allergic to my perfume before" he argues but it only takes him less than two seconds to realize the situation.
Minho is pregnant. Women can develop new allergies during pregnancy.
"...Oh" he is dumbfounded. They look at each other with the eyes of 'do you think what I'm thinking?'. Obviously, Seungmin thinks about disposing of any of his fragrances right away. Deodorant, perfume, cologne, everything that makes him smell like he used to. And he won't think twice to dispose of them. After staring at each other for about ten seconds, Minho nods as if she agrees with the idea.
"Yeah, this baby needs to go" she goes back to the kitchen.
"BABE, NO" Seungmin chases her right away. Seungmin knows that she's 90% joking but who knows what she is thinking when she leaves. He stops just right in front of the kitchen's entrance, and sees his wife checking the refrigerator.
"Look, I'll wear another perfume. Or I won't wear perfume at all so we can still hug before I go to work. Sounds good?" He suggests original idea right away. Minho looks at him while grabbing a cup of pudding.
"Cool. But you need to go shower now" she answers calmly as if she didn't plan a murder a minute ago. Seungmin smells his own shirt. Right. He wore his perfume after shower. He needs to change his routine now.
So, the whole day, Seungmin just showers (twice, with Minho's bath set, just to be sure), throws away all of his stuff that has fragrance, and wash their bedding and his towel, while Minho happily eat her pudding while watching horror movie on tv. Only when he finishes, he sits next to Minho and observes if she starts to feel nauseous again.
"How are you feeling?" He asks softly, even sits halfway just in case he needs to stay away again. Minho looks at him for about five seconds, then she answers.
"I think I get nauseous because of your ugliness" she says solemnly.
Only when Seungmin gives her a glare does she giggle and hugs his arm securely, finally get the chance to get clingy without the morning sickness. And she spends two more hours for another movie, but this time while hugging Seungmin's arm and leaning on his shoulder.

Bonus :
A week later...
Seungmin has been staying late at work for the past several days because of the upcoming trial case. So, most of it, he will come home with his favorite girls already sleeping. He feels bad actually, because he needs to let Minho handle their kid alone while pregnant, but luckily the case is almost over, so after that he can focus on his family again.
Tonight, when he comes home, he sees the living room's light is still bright. It's already 11:23, his girls are supposedly sleeping. He opens the front door slowly, and he sees Minho get off the couch super quickly with excitement on her face.
"You're home!" She cheers.
Seungmin's tiredness flies next to the stars instantly.
"Hi, baby. Why are you still awake?" He approaches her with open arms and they embrace each other right away.
"Hmm... Actually, I can't really sleep well these days. Especially after you throw away all your scents. Usually, even though you were not around, your fragrance on the pillow and blanket helped me to sleep. But now, they are not there, so I guess I need you instead" Minho answers casually as if that is not the most heart-fluttering confession Seungmin has heard after so long. Apparently, baby fever exists starting from the mother because Minho is way too adorable and soft when she is pregnant.
Unfortunately, the husband can't focus on that for long when he suddenly remembers something.
"Oh, babe, about that..."
"Hm?"
Seungmin finds a way to tell her about it in the most proper way possible.
"My... coworker said I smell good these days" he confesses, but it makes Minho confused.
"Hm? But I thought you didn't wear perfume" she says innocently, but it only takes her less than two seconds to understand the situation.
Seungmin's natural fragrance.
"Exactly" Seungmin answers when he sees the realization hits through Minho's eyes.
They look at each other with the eyes of 'do you think what I'm thinking?'. Obviously, Seungmin thinks about buying a new perfume, the one where Minho will not feel nauseous when she smells it, like bubble bath scent. After staring at each other for about ten seconds, Minho nods as if she agrees with the idea.
"Your coworker needs to go"
"BABE, NO"
