Characters and lore so far not done:)
Jiao “add alias later” Ling, - weaponsmith. Sixteen, but with an IQ of 160. Major in black market circles, known widely in the underworld. Builds pretty much anything, from missiles to blades to full on nukes. Sells them out to the highest bidder, no really important morals. Doesn’t care who, as long as they pay. If they don’t….the results aren’t pretty. Is very fun, snarky, likes to poke fun and make jokes at the worst of times, flirts a lot with both men and women, older and his age. Pulls hard, too. Has a lot of shady contacts. 5’4, annoyed when people pick on his height. Black hair, straight and long, messy, ties it up while working. Brown eyes, full lips, smooth nose. Acne. Glasses, but refuses to wear them for goggles instead usually. Gets maximum dates, male and female. Bisexual. Cocky, arrogant, mostly dresses in leather or tank tops, sports wear. Amazing shoulders. Big self esteem, thinks highly of himself. Massive ego. Bright and sarcastic, cheerful. Wants to cause chaos. Doesn’t have a good relationship with his father, abusive, and worked as one of the doctors in the camp James was in. Verbally aggressive if needs arise, will pull your mum jokes in torture situations. Will add more later.
Rudy- Mexican, owns most of the drug cartels in the area, knows all off the corrupt officers in the military and Mexican special forces, likes to exploit loopholes. Amazing fighter, though his skills lean more towards ‘interrogation’ than fighting. Twenty eight, smokes. Likes to swear. Knows all of his men, and takes care to know what their needs and stuff are. 5’8, short stubble, smile lines. Dark brown eyes, yellow teeth, crooked nose. Reliable for favors. Weapons dealer. Knows Jiao from weapon deals. Will add more later.
Deimos- Mercenary. Real name unknown. About 32, based on Jiao’s guesses. 6’9. Lithe, but well built, but not bulky. Always armed. Kidnapped at age five, sold into a mercenary circle by human traffickers. Pretty much trained into the ruthless killer he is now. Not much known about him. Not that heavily scarred, but suspected plastic surgery. Was very sheltered in his childhood, was never taught right and wrong. Is oblivious about romantic interests or ‘dating’. Stress bakes. Is practically mama bear after he meets James, and even more so after Jiao. Addicted to x Reader fanfics on ao3 and tumblr. Will add more later.
James- No last name. He abandoned it when his parents sold him into a human trafficking ring. (same one as Deimos- they met briefly, that will come up) But in the ring he fought back too much, and got sold to a torture camp that needed subjects. Heavily traumatized, and conditioned. Suffered many types of torture there. (see: лагерь страданий). Met Jiao in Moscow after escaping. (see: Escaping лагерь страданий). A lot of mental conditions, obviously. Has flashbacks, and petrifying nightmares, which nearly always lead to panic attacks or vomiting, and/or thrashing, violent. Doesn’t recognize people during his ‘episodes’. Will add more later.
Italian mafia, love triangle, Alfredo- Is twenty nine, and fancies Rudy and Kwan. He’s clean shaven and hot as fuck, rich af, has a bodyguard team, gay, but lots of women have interest, but he likes men. Lots of pretty jewelry.
Kwan- Korean, runs a gang, very well known in the city. Twenty eight, smokes, has a right hand man called Hueyong Yu, who is very reliable, and dumb, and very funny. Kwan likes Rudy. 5’9, mostly clean shaven, dark eyes, short clipped black hair, scar running down his jaw. Inspired by Dusik Cha from mercenary enrollment. Is known and feared in Seoul. Knows Jiao through some arms deals and knows Deimos as he helped them spring a human trafficking job a couple of years ago, because he was in the area for a job, and found them already planning to destroy it, because it belonged to a rival gang.
Some scene ideas:
Jiao invents these little like, circular buttons, that click onto people, and pretty much manipulate the electricity of their brain signals. He has these connected to a pair of Nintendo switch controllers, neon pink and neon green ones. Of course, he has these on all the important people, like Presidents and military leaders. They’re undetectable, and burrow under the skin when the victim sleeps, but release a local anesthetic as they do so, and they don’t show up on X-rays or metal detectors.
They dress Deimos up in drag for a club to spring a guy who owns a brothel and got on the bad side of Kwan in Seoul.
Jiao messes with a Jeep engine and mechanics so it can handle up to 700 miles an hour without overheating, and is a terrible driver, and proceeds to nearly kill them all while ‘drifitng’ and ‘doing GTA moves’ in the middle of New York and proceeds to get them in a car chase with the police. Plays Tokyo drift while doing the entire thing.
Deimos stress bakes so much Rudy, the conman he is, starts selling it all for ridiculous overly priced amounts, but people buy it its that good.
The love triangle situation in more detail:
Rudy, Kwan and Alfredo- All dating, but only Rudy and Kwan are exclusive- both seeing Alfredo behind eachothers backs- neither knows except Alfredo- Lolll gonna be so much fun
Valentin Petrov: Russian. Main director of the torture camp James was in. Not nice. Grew up with nice enough parents. Murdered them.
I am very much open to constructive criticism and a lot of ideas pleaseee also i need ideas for aliases for some of them pleaseeee thank youuu
