Ilya's worry was quiet, internal, and settled deep in his bones. It was every time Ekaterina got sick that Ilya would sleep on the floor of her room, just to be sure she was okay. If she was quiet for a few days, he hovered on the off chance she'd decide she needed one of them. When the crying went on just a little bit longer than what seemed normal, he was there.
