Work Text:
All sorts of questions went through Felix’s mind as he faded in and out of consciousness, the main one being ‘How can I make the pain stop?’. His ears were ringing and he could faintly hear his father screaming at him.
Felix had a name for whenever Colt wanted to be violent, and those were called “the outburts.” The outbursts seemed to be recurring more and more as Felix got older. This specific outburst was very different, much more violent than usual, and Felix had no idea why.
It’s as if Colt just decided, to hell with it, and went to Felix’s room.
Felix fell out of consciousness, once again.
Felix woke up, and wasn’t sure how long he had been unconscious for. Colt must’ve lost interest in the outburst, because he was nowhere to be seen. He pushed himself off of the ground with his hand, and sat up. He wasn’t able to move his other hand.
He wasn’t exactly sure what had happened while he was unconscious, but he knew that everything hurt, especially his arms and a leg.
He dragged himself and sat against the side of his bed, and began looking for damage. He rolled up his sleeves to see more bruises and blood than skin. He tried to stand up, but something in his leg cracked, and he fell back to the ground.
When he sat back up, he saw Colt staring down at him. Felix didn’t know if he was standing there the whole time, or had just re-entered the room.
“Stand.” Colt ordered him. He had a knife in his hand that was already covered in blood.
Felix tried to stand, but fell over when his leg cracked once again. To fix this, he held onto the bed and stood on one foot.
“Took you long enough.” Colt sneered. Felix ignored him.

Monarch sorted out his plan for if Argos were to show up, and he was sure it would happen. It had been a few days since Argos attacked the world, and he was still unsatisfied. Even though Adrien had convinced him to bring everyone back, Argos still had vendettas against a few people in particular, Monarch being one of them.
He stood in his lair when he heard it.
“Boo.” Argos said. He stood, leaning against the wall in the darker area of the lair, so it was hard to see him. But Monarch knew it was him.
Argos stepped out of the darkness. Blood was visible, even through the suit, all over him. He had the grin of a madman.
“VENOM!” Monarch yelled, and lunged at Argos’s head. But Argos tilted his head slightly to avoid the attack, then punched Monarch suprsingly far back.
Even though he was wounded, he was strong.
“I was thinking.” Argos said as Monarch desperately tried to hit him as he dodged every attack. “We should team up.”
“Why would we!?” Monarch yelled.
Argos kicked Monarch back a few yards, and he landed on his back. Argos walked over to him and looked down at him, still smiling.
“I know everything.” Argos replied.
“Your threats mean nothing to me!” Monarch stood up instantly, pushed Argos against the wall, and pinned him.
“I’ll give you Emilie.” Argos offered.
“... How would you do that?” Monarch asked, not yet loosening his grip.
“I know everything.” Argos responded. “I just need a favor in return.”
“What exactly is the favor?” Monarch asked.
“I want Colt to lose his life so mother can regain hers.” Argos answered. “I know just what to do.”
Monarch didn’t know if he could trust him or not.
“How can I trust you?” Monarch asked.
Argos transformed back into Felix, and held Monarch's venomous hand to his own head. His clothes were ripped and blood was pouring down his arms, legs and face. There were bruises, and dried and fresh stab wounds all over him. He had cracks all over his face, too. Monarch wondered how he hadn’t passed out already.
“You can kill me right now, if you don’t believe me.” Felix said, still smiling. “I have no reason to live. Adrien hates me now, even though I changed my mind. I just ask that you make it quick.”
“... Fine.” Monarch replied. “Let’s team up.”
“Delightful!” Felix responded, as he shook Monarch’s hand.
And within a blink, Felix was gone.

Argos hummed to the song he just sang when he made everyone disappear with a snap of his fingers, including his father. He was sick and tired of people abusing him and Adrien, and he had finally done something about it.
“What you’re doing is crazy!” Adrien yelled at Argos. “Everyone is gone! Even Marinette - the love of my life!...”
“I know!” Argos responded, standing on top of a car in the empty streets of Paris. “You’ll get used to it… maybe you’ll thank me, someday!”
“Felix.” Adrien said. “I’ll give you one more chance, because you’re my cousin. Bring everyone back, now!”
“Don’t waste your time.” Argos replied.
Argos didn’t even flinch when Adrien transformed into Cat Noir and yelled,
“Cataclysm!”
