   Summary

   "You're not the real Gen'ichirō, are you?"

   An au based on 'The Summer Hikaru Died' wherein a 31yr old Fukuzawa reconnects with his closest friend, only to discover that whatever returned from the war-zone was not the real Fukuchi. Instead, it is a mysterious entity with his body, voice and memories, curious to know of his origin and identity. On a trip back to their childhood home, secrets are spilled and investigated. Meanwhile, the guilt that weighs on Fukuzawa’s mind lets forth to the bubbling of repressed emotions he had been determined to keep down for so long.
