Chapter Text

It’s weird here. Jupiter isn’t here. Mom isn’t here. But perhaps that’s a good thing. It’s just different from Golden Grove. But I’ll change and adapt. This will be good.

There’s potential in the town. There’s another watcher, or observer. I don’t know what to call us yet. I think “watcher” fits though. We watch. That’s our job. Speaking of jobs, don’t you get paid for jobs? It’s been, what a week, and I haven’t gotten a single paycheck or any updates. So far, major activity is very minimal. The most interesting thing I’ve seen all week is a fish jump out of water. Real amusing. I miss Jupiter. There is this other dude here, I think his name is Arias or something like that. Some Greek name. He seems cool. He seems a bit obsessed with endermen and the color purple. He does have a cat though, Eclipse, if I'm correct. Seems odd about the endermen, but my mother taught me not to judge.

Though this might make me want to get a pet as well. Fillip was amazing, my second best friend, (Sorry Fillip, Jupiter has been there since I was born.) and now I'm kinda just alone. Sure there are other villagers, but that's different. They just see me as a head of authority, not someone they can talk to. A pet would listen, wouldn't see me as just someone higher up. Maybe I should get a cat this time. Or a horse. Maybe I'll just fold and get another dog. But what to name them? I named Fillip after my father, so maybe Valentina after my mother? This hurts my head. I'll report more later.
Signing off, Aurel Rusu “Post yellow”
PS. signing that with “post yellow” felt really weird

Pay attention, don't be thick
Or you're liable to get licked
And you're gonna see the reason why
