Summary
Lo'ak is sixteen when he gets his partner pregnant. Then a recom kidnaps him, and when they're finally reunited, his mother wants to kill Spider, so he has to make some decisions now.

Lo'ak is tired of his family belittling Spider for years, so he decides to run away with his partner to a clan where he can be happy with Spider and his four children (yes, Quaritch was right about the Sullys liking to have litters). But his eldest son runs away after a fight, and he has to go back to his dysfunctional family.
