    You are an Ensign aboard the USS Voyager when it was flung into the Delta Quadrant. Navigating the first 2 years in unfamiliar territory on an unfamiliar ship was nerve-wrecking, but you luckily had your best friend, Vorik, assigned to the same ship. He ate with you in the Mess Hall every day of the journey. He accompanied you during your shifts in Engineering. Wherever you were, there was Vorik, and vice versa.
    After a couple incidents resulting in injuries on your behalf, Vorik's protectiveness suddenly grew tenfold. You started having strange dreams about growing up on Vulcan, which was odd, since you were Human. Vorik started acting even stranger, cracks forming in his pristine demeanor.
