Rhaenys had weeped many a time in Visenya’s arms at night, longing for her own children to cradle and teach their ways and Aegon had also done the same, speaking of his shame of being unable to carry on their line, failing the legacy of Daenys the Dreamer and all the ones before them that had escaped the Doom and been dragonriding warriors, superior to the lesser forms of humans. Aegon didn’t know that despite his Targaryen heritage, he was lesser.
