Silver's eyes were wide as he stared daggers into the corner of the room, fixated on something that Blaze could not see.
She kept her arms around him, a reminder that he wasn't alone and that he was safe.
He fidgeted with her glove, which she didn't mind. Whatever brought him comfort.
Heaven knows he needed it.
