Work Text:

Felix Agreste didn’t do parties.

He hated them.

Why people would gather in a condemned space simply to dance around, drink and flirt with one another was beyond him.

Adrien, on the other hand, didn’t mind them. He didn’t particularly enjoy the atmosphere, but if given an invite, he’d be sure to attend. Felix knew he only took up these offers to get out of the house.

Due to his twin’s rapid popularity, these offers would open left and right, most hoping to gain some clout off of the model’s presence. But sometimes, very rarely, someone genuine would throw one, and Felix would allow himself to be dragged along.

“Fe!” Called Adrien, rushing over to where the shorter boy was studying. “Guess what!”

Closing the book, Felix spared a glance up at his bright eyed twin, raising a brow.

“Guess what!” He repeated.

With a huff, the calmer blond slumped back into his chair, ridding himself of his usually perfect posture. “What.”

“I said guess.”

Felix rubbed the bridge of his nose with an annoyed groan. “I don’t know, Adrien. You have a new model shoot?”

“Would I be excited for something like that? Honestly, Fe, you wound me,” replied the taller one. “The answer is no, by the way, I wouldn’t be.”

“Yes. I got that part.”

“Okay, so, I got an invite from this guy whose a supposed friend of Marinett—”

“Your girlfriend?”

“She’s not my!---Will you just let me finish!?” Hissed Adrien. “SO. I got an invite from Marinette’s friend, Luka. His house is like totally on a boat! Sick right? Well, he’s hosting a party after school. Anddd I thought you might want to come?”

“Who is this kid?” Felix deadpanned.

“I just told you. Marinette’s friend. Luka. He goes to her school, not ours.”

“Right.”

“You coming?”

Felix stood to stack his books on top of one another, expression unreadable.

“I don’t know if you heard me, I asked if you were coming?”

“No, Adrien, I heard you.” Confirmed the snarky twin, still yet to answer on his availability. “I just didn’t care enough to reply.”

Ignoring this, the model continued, “the party is around 4. But Marinette wants us to come over early, so we can help set up.”

“To be clear,” Felix said, walking away with his hands full as Adrien fell into step beside him, “Marinette asked for US to come set up the party. She said ‘will you and your twin please come early?’ Did she?”

“I just kinda assumed I’d bring you, she didn’t say that.”

“Obviously she didn’t say that!” He snapped back. “I’m not going early to a party to help some stranger named Luka set up. I’m not even going AT ALL.”

“Hey! Luka, right?” Greeted Adrien, pulling the guitarist into a hug before stepping back and nodding at the boy to his right. “This is Felix!”

“Adrien,” whispered the boy under his breath, irritation evident in his tone, “you don’t hug people you’ve only just met.”

“Oh.”

Luka intervened with a polite smile. “It’s quite alright, I don’t mind.”

Felix eyed him up and down with a judgy expression.

The teen had dyed blue hair, black roots coming through, with equally as colourful eyes. His lips held two piercings known as snakebites, and his outfit was just a disgrace entirely. Ripped baggy jeans and an oversized shirt from some band. Not to mention the drawn on converse. Seriously, why buy things if you’re just going to ruin them, thought Felix.

Luka adjusted the strap of his guitar case over his shoulder, seemingly unthreatened by Felix’s rich boy stare. “Hey, Felix,” he said calmly, “it’s nice to meet you.”

Uncomfortably, the shorter twin reached out and met the boy half way in an awkward attempt of a handshake, Felix appearing as though he wasn’t sure how to do one and only lightly glazing him.

Adrien sighed at the sight before disappearing to find Marinette.

Upon pulling their hands away, Luka gestured to his outfit. “Do you always wear your uniform outside of school hours?”

It was a joke.

Felix raised a brow, eyes half lidded. “I was dragged to your party suddenly after school. I didn’t have time to change.”

“Ah,” the musician nodded. “Adrien’s in a different outfit though, is he not?”

“Adrien is a model. He always has extra clothes on him.”

“That’s fair.”

With that, Felix turned on his heels, shoes clacking against the tiles of the boat’s flooring. Luka watched him go with a small smirk and a curious first impression.

People started arriving when Adrien had said they would, rapidly filling the space. Felix sat on the ledge of a railing, tucked into a corner on his phone. He wasn’t necessarily looking at anything on it, refusing social media as much as possible, but he wanted to look busy.

He only glanced up when the bright sky became shades of blues and purples, night finally settling in. He felt the wind’s attempt to mess up his gelled hair, causing him to flatten it to the side once more. The sound of music and talking was beginning to agitate him, ultimately leaving him with no choice but to call an uber.

Until he spotted Luka again.

The teen was off to the distance, standing in a circle with a group of boys, drink in hand and back to Felix. He could recognize the blue hair. Instinctively, he let his eyes wander Luka’s body, soon coming to a halt at the black wallet tucked into his pocket.

This was his element. He was good at this.

It’s not that he needed the money, clearly, but he liked the thrill and feel for control it gave him. Though the extra cash was certainly a bonus, especially when Gabriel Agreste was your father and refused allowance.

The plan was simple, just sneak up behind him and grab it without actually making contact with the boy’s body.

Unfortunately, one of them saw him approaching, nudging the teen beside him until most of them were looking his way. Whatever, Luka wasn’t looking, so he continued to shove people aside until he finally crossed over.

Just as his fingers moved to snatch the wallet, Luka turned around.

Felix stilled, hands flying to settle behind his back in a polite manner. He mustered up a charming smile, hoping to look innocent for the situation.

“Felix,” grinned Luka as the others mumbled. “Didn’t know you were still here!”

“Yeah, well, who would want to miss—” he gestured around, “this.”

“Mhmmm,” Luka hummed, drink swaying as he leaned in closer. “So, what were you doing?”

“Just—coming to say hi.”

Luka laughed, “alright, sure, hi, Felix.”

“Hi.”

“Off now then?”

His shoulders tensed, hands coming up to loosen the tie he felt like was strangling him. Luka raised a brow at this. Felix read his face, noticing the faint blush.

Well. He’d done this strategy before.

“Nah,” he smirked, relaxing his muscles. “Want to hang out with you for a bit.”

The others stopped talking, glancing around and taking the hint to disappear.

Luka looked him up and down. The blond straightened hair, green eyes, perfect features. Almost an exact copy of Adrien, if not for the slight baby face and height.

Better than Adrien.

Besides the tie, his uniform remained pristine from the lack of movement. Dark blue blazer still atop his white button up, black pants covering his legs.

Everything about him screamed ‘pretentious fucker.’

Luka loved that.

“Yeah? Why do you wanna do that?”

Felix’s mind worked fast. “Is the fact I’m flirting not obvious?”

“Is that what you’re doing, baby?”

The music seemed to disappear for the two, a light breeze settling between them.

“Yeah,” he confirmed, glancing at Luka’s lips.

The guitarist put an arm around his waist, pulling him closer with a laugh and setting his drink aside on the nearby railing. “You drunk or something, ‘Lix?”

Forcing himself to not roll his eyes at the nickname, he shook his head. “I’m sober,” and under his breath he mumbled, “unfortunately.”

Luka squinted. “Right.”

“Right. So. Are you going to kiss me?” He deadpanned.

“No subtleties with you, yeah?”

“I prefer to be straightforward.”

“I can see that,” teased Luka, right hand rubbing at Felix’s hip from overtop the blazer. “So, you can kiss me, but your twin shouldn’t hug strangers? What’s up with that?”

“You’re not a stranger anymore, we met a couple of hours ago.”

“Do you often go around kissing boys you met a couple of hours ago?”

Honestly. Yeah. More than he’d like to admit.

“Sometimes,” he shrugged. “Join the roster, it’s worth it.”

Luka would be crazy to deny this offer.

Leaning in, their lips finally met in a desperate clash. Felix moved on autopilot, hands moving to rest lower down at the taller teen’s waist. Just inches from his back pocket.

Nobody batted an eye, too busy swaying to the music and having their own conversations.

At some point Luka pulled back only to immediately put his lips to work at the side of Felix’s neck.

“Mghh,” breathed Felix in shock, tilting his head to offer more access. One of his hands flew to Luka’s neck, grasping on as he fell forward a bit.

When the surprise wore off, Felix blinked a couple of times before refocusing. He made quick work of snatching the wallet, momentarily taking his hand off of Luka and shoving it into the front pockets of his school pants.

Luka mouthed at his neck a bit more, eliciting small sounds from the shorter boy. He would occasionally bite a little, licking over it to soothe the pain.

Eventually the blue haired boy pulled off, just as Felix began subtly grinding on his leg.

The blond was about to complain before he saw why.

Adrien stood there, mouth open. “Huh. Didn’t take Luka as your type,” was all he said before turning to the other. “Marinette says she needs to talk to you.”

Luka nodded, offering an eye towards Felix.

He looked wrecked.

“Hey, ‘Lix,” beamed Luka, one hand carding through his blond strands while his other waved something off to the side.

Felix glanced over and the way his face dropped was priceless.

“Not sure why pick pocketing is a part of the way you flirt, but don’t try that shit on me. Yeah?”

“I didn—”

“I knew what you were doing since I turned around.”

Felix winced.

Luka only grinned, stepping away to find Marinette.

Adrien tugged at his twin’s shoulders, “what the hell was that!?”

“Your friend is such a perv,” he lied.

“I thought he was a stranger.”

“Will you guys shut up with that!?”

You’re the one who said it!
