Summary
July 1st, 1916. The allied forces are soon to charge into German territory, hoping to overwhelm their foes with sheer numbers and previously placed bombs and artillery.
General Erwin Smith is not a fool. He is aware of the flaws in the plans sprawled across his mahogany desk. If Zacklys' orders fail, it will be Erwin faced with the punishing blow. He gazes up at grey skies and resolves to go out alongside those who he holds dearly.
