Banana split! (Sakura split!?)

Summary:

Everything was completely normal yesterday. Absolutely normal.

Beating thugs up? Normal. Helping the citizens of Makochi? Even more normal. Chasing Risa because she somehow managed to escape for the nth time? Most normal out of all of them.

So how in the world is Sakura Haruka— one of Furin’s strongest fighters, one of Furin’s grade captains, one of Makochi’s beloved residents —seeing two versions of himself after waking up on a Wednesday!?

Chapter 1

Notes:

Anyways, have three Sakuras! Enjoy reading!

Chapter Text

Sakura Haruka woke up feeling lighter than usual, and hearing voices that sound eerily to his own conversing with each other.

Thinking that it was probably some after effects after the dreaming or whatever, he sits up with a groan, rubbing the crust off his eyes.

The voices went away, so it really made Haruka think that it 𝘸𝘢𝘴 just his brain fucking with him.

𝘉𝘰𝘺, 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨.

“Well, look who's finally up and about!”

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬.

“Shut the hell up and let him process all this first!”

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠.

“You're talkin' too, ain't ya'?”

“... WHAT THE FUCK!?”

𝘞𝘏𝘠 𝘈𝘙𝘌 𝘛𝘏𝘌𝘙𝘌 𝘛𝘞𝘖 𝘝𝘌𝘙𝘚𝘐𝘖𝘕𝘚 𝘖𝘍 𝘏𝘐𝘔𝘚𝘌𝘓𝘍!?

He pinches himself, blinking his eyes over and over.

They're still there.

He slaps himself then.

… They're still there.

𝘚𝘖 𝘛𝘏𝘐𝘚 𝘐𝘚𝘕'𝘛 𝘛𝘏𝘐𝘚 𝘈 𝘋𝘙𝘌𝘈𝘔???

“... So you,” Haruka points at the version of himself where his hair is completely white, both eyes being sunset yellow.

“... and you,” then he points at the other version of himself. The version of what he could've been. Black hair, with gunmetal eyes.

“... are me.” Then lastly, he points at himself. A mix of the two.

The two nodded. “We're not exactly sure how it happened, but I think we'll figure it out somehow.” The… white one said.

“Think of us as the… angel and devil on your shoulders.” The black one suggested with a shrug.

Haruka nodded slowly, still very confused. How is he supposed to explain this to anyone? Actually, no. He doesn't have to bring them along anywhere! Yeah!

“Unfortunately, we can't be far from each other. This one,” the white haired one gestured to his black haired counterpart, “tried leaving the apartment, but then he got a major headache when he attempted to go even further. Luckily, he was smart enough to come back before he fainted on the sidewalk.”

Said counterpart raised a brow. “You callin’ me dumb?”

And Haruka had another question. “Can you read my mind!?”

The one being questioned scratches the back of his head, before letting out a huff. “We all share the same brain, and that apparently means we share the same thoughts.” But then he quickly adds, “Or, actually, we can hear each other’s thoughts.”

“Answer my question!” The black haired one hissed. He gets completely ignored though.

Haruka makes a face at that, not really fond of the idea of having his thoughts broadcasted to other versions of himself. Yet again, he doesn't have anything to hide from them. They're literally him.

“Okay, uhm… What are we even gonna call each other? We can't all be called 𝘚𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘳𝘢.”

They all look at one another, taking a moment to brainstorm. It was silent, the three of them talking telepathically, until Haruka's phone rang loudly.

Haruka unplugs his phone from its charger, picking up the call, and putting it on speaker for all three of them to listen in.

“𝘖𝘩! 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘎𝘰𝘥, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱! 𝘈𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭, 𝘚𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘳𝘢-𝘴𝘢𝘯?”

‘𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘕𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘪.’ They all thought.

Haruka opens his mouth to respond, but quickly shuts it closed. He gives the other two a look, silently asking them how in the hell is he gonna explain his situation. One shrugged unhelpfully, the other told him to just make a quick excuse.

“Uhm, m-my head kinda hurts, so, uh…” Not the best excuse, but it'll for sure work on Nirei.

“𝘞-𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵!? 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳? 𝘎𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘦-?”

“Yeah- yeah, yeah, just do whatever!”

And then he hung up.

“... You do know that they're gonna barge in here any minute, right?” The white haired one sighed, the other half of his personality snickering.

“What was I supposed to say!?” Haruka grumbled, throwing his phone at the sniggering one in reflex. It's to save his dignity, actually, but whatever.

“Easy, tiger.” The black haired one teased, catching the phone easily.

The most rational out of all of them quickly takes the phone away before it gets thrown again. “Well, we'll worry about that later. Let's just figure out how we're going to refer to each other, yeah?”

Haruka groaned, scratching his head in frustration. “Ugh, does that even matter?” Can't they just go by Sakura, Sakura 1, and Sakura 2?

“It's so that others can differentiate us.”

“But like, we're all one anyways!”

“Exactly!”

“But what if someone wants to talk to us individually?”

The three bickered, not noticing their newly installed doorbell ringing, nor did they notice the footsteps approaching. They were too focused on arguing why names even matter, and why they don't.

They finally noticed that someone else was with them when they heard a yelp. They all turn to look, only now realizing that their apartment had been broken into.

“T-t-three Sakura-sans!?”

Well, shit.

“Well, this is certainly perplexing.” Suo muttered, looking at each Sakura. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦’𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩.

Nirei seemed thrilled though, seeing as he's been writing on his top secret notebook since he found them.

“You three were arguing about names, right?” Nirei asked, ripping a piece of paper off of one of Haruka's many unused notebooks that's been laying around by the foldable table Kiryu bought. He then rips them in three parts, writing Haru, Sakura, and Haruka in them. He folded them one by one, in a way that the names written in them won't be seen.

He shuffles them in his hand, before dropping them in front of the three Sakuras. “One of you will pick one of these, and in them will be the names you'll be referred to!”

The three frown at the same time, before they each pick a piece of folded paper up. The first one to unfold his paper was the white haired one.

“I'll be called Sakura.” He declared. The other two clicked their tongues at the revelation, before they opened their own folded papers.

The black haired one grunted, “I got Haruka.”

“DAMNIT!”
