5:34 AM. The number on the alarm clock.
Azula's hand combs through Ty Lee's mess of hair absentmindedly, staring outside the window. It was bright—oddly bright for 5am. Azula wanted to snap the curtains shut, but alas, the weight of her lover against her own body kept her from doing so; it was like a cat napping on its owner's lap.
Bothersome, Azula thinks, but the way her arm was wrapped around Ty Lee's waist said otherwise.
The girl on top stirs, legs kicking alive before she started to stretch, ultimately rolling over—off of Azula and onto the other side of the bed. "Ow," Ty Lee whines dramatically, as if she fell on the floor rather than the mattress below her.
Azula rolls her eyes in response. "You're fine." It earned a pout from her lover, but she ignores it and sits up, grabbing the edge of her shirt and pulling it away from her skin. Ty Lee's warmth had seeped in and made a sweaty mess of her clothes. "Sometimes I think we should prohibit cuddling in the summer." Azula grumbles, but it has no real ill intent behind it.
Ty Lee was watching her gorgeous lady complain. She was so pretty when she hated the little things. "Heyy! You haven't even given me my morning kisses and you're already being mean to me?" She feigns hurt, frowning insufferably. Azula didn't dare turn around; she knows that stupid dumb frown would make her want to pepper her lover with kisses till it turned upside down.
"Hey, my kisses!" Ty Lee raised a hand, swatting it around in futility when Azula walked past her without a second thought. "Too early." Her girlfriend excused. "If you want em, you need to get up." Ty Lee's jaw dropped. "What?! But-" "No buts. It's get up or get nothin'." Azula ruffled her head before stepping into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. It left her lover somewhat alone. They were still in the same room—kind of.
The brunette whined, pouting even harder as she forced herself to sit up. Seriously, what was it with her girlfriend and waking up so damn early?! But those kisses... She simply couldn't resist. She missed the way her girlfriend's lips connected with hers in such a gentle way despite her rough nature. She missed the taste of her lips. She missed when her girlfriend couldn't resist and just kept kissing her endlessly.
It wasn't like they did that just last night. No, absolutely not! Ty Lee was not that needy. Right?
The door to the bathroom opened just in time. The pouting girl turned cheerful the second Azula stepped out of the bathroom, face wet with a new shirt on. One that wasn't soaked in sweat. "Pretty girl~" Ty Lee grins, immediately pushing the weighted blanket off of her, nearly tripping as she crossed the short distance towards her girlfriend. Azula sighs, preparing herself as she opened her arms for her lover who lunged at her with full force.
"Mph!" Azula grunted, but it was muffled. Much to her dismay, Ty Lee was quick enough to pull her head down and kiss her before she could pull away. Azula melted into the kiss far too fast for someone who was complaining just minutes ago. Ty Lee smiled against her lips, to which Azula pinched her waist in response.
"Mwah!" Ty Lee enunciated her kiss, akin to a golden retriever catching the stick and running back to it's owner. Azula, as annoyed as she looks, kisses her again. It was pure habit. It wasn't her fault! Ty Lee was just too... Beautiful. She was too kissable. It's definitely Ty Lee's fault, Azula says in her head to convince herself that she isn't so desperately in love with the acrobat to kiss her more than once.
They pull away, but only from the kiss. Ty Lee was stubborn when it came to letting go of hugs. "So, what's today's plan?" She smiles innocently, hands traveling up to Azula's neck to allow herself to lean back without falling. She turned faintly pink when Azula's hands steadied her back. "Nothing in particular. How about we just go to your favorite cafe and call it a day?" Her lover was always eager to go out somewhere. Azula knew well that their little cafe date would turn into a shopping spree which would turn into finding a new restaurant to eat at which would turn into more shopping and finally going home. The acrobat needed to have a daily outing. It was like having a dog with too much energy after a five-minute nap.
"Ohhh, yes please!" Ty Lee stands on her feet properly, excitedly jumping up and down with a smile. It amused Azula enough to smile herself. "Okay, okay. We still have a few hours till breakfast though, and the cafe doesn't open till 9am. Do you have anything you want to do in the meantime?" The brunette pondered before giggling.
"I want to kiss you, that's what."
"Ugh, again?"
