   Summary

   After his defeat, Maul is dragged back to Coruscant in chains and delivered to the Emperor’s throne room.

   Sidious does not kill him. Death would be too simple, too merciful. Instead, he gives Maul a new name, a slave’s status, and a place at the foot of the Imperial throne, where every breath, every movement, and every humiliation belongs to him.
