Chapter Text
Kaname didn’t remember collapsing, he didn’t remember his forehead slamming into the cool floor or struggling to breathe and surely didn’t remember closing his eyes.
But here he was, lying on the floor boards, looking straight into the light hung on the ceiling, blinding his eyes. He was dizzy. The room was running like an Olympic runner, further disorientating his heavy mind. He grumbled and groaned as he made a futile attempt to sit up, somewhat leaning against the wall, somewhat still lying on the floor.
Fortunately or unfortunately, Jun and Hiyori weren’t here.
Kaname never wants them to see him in such a weaken state. Yet, currently, all he desires is to be in their embrace, hugged, held tightly in their arms, lying on the bed while being peppered by light kisses.
Such a shame they won’t be home till late in the evening
He let out another loud groan in agony, it was hell just to move. And he was still so, so lightheaded.
The darkness, not giving him a choice, takes him under as he falls to a restless faint. What he didn’t noticed was a certain Yorkshire terrier trotting into the living room, before rushing to her mama‘s side, her small puppy heart pulsating in terror.
