Work Text:

♥️

Arisu’s head was pounding. Despite how many times he had made this particular mistake, taking a drink to temporarily lose himself to the horrors of the world he found himself in sometimes sounded preferable. Once he had one drink, another always sounded like a good idea and before he knew it, he would be waking up in the morning nursing one hell of a hangover.

Usually it wasn’t the biggest deal and after being woken up by Usagi he would just chug a bottle of water and fall back asleep. That being said, the world seemed to have it out for him even more than it already did today.

There was a knock at the door, sharp a piercing. Arisu groaned into the pillow before lifting his head just enough to call out. “I’m alive Usagi.”

“I’m sure she’ll be happy to hear that.”

Fuck.

“Chishiya!” He scrambled up from where he lay face first on the bed to find the man watching him— head tilted and cat-like eyes glittering with amusement. “Sorry I—”

He rolled his eyes with a smirk. “Not necessary. I told Usagi I would collect you myself.”

“Collect me?”

“Yes. So if you wouldn’t mind, her and Kuina are already waiting for us outside…”

“Now?! I— okay. I’ll be right there I just need to change and—”

Chishiya raised an eyebrow. “Then change so we can go.”

“Uh… could you step out?”

“Are you shy Arisu~” He purred. “Nothing I haven’t seen.”

“But—”

“Just hurry. I’ll be waiting~” Chishiya chuckled before gliding out of the room.

Chishiya was… a problem.

Here’s the thing. Arisu might be bisexual, but he was also so very very extremely gay— a fact that made itself abundantly clear anytime the diamond specialist breathed in his presence.

He couldn’t help it. He was weak. A tilt of his head and a smile, or even just saying his name in the way only he ever did, and Arisu was helpless but to do anything and everything he asked him. Against common sense and to the detriment of his own wellbeing.

Which is why despite the throbbing in skull at every pulse of the music and the nausea that a protein bar just wouldn’t fix, Arisu found himself tucked into a corner of the pool deck with a pilfered set of sunglasses willing his brain to focus on what Chishiya had brought them here to discuss.

It was incredibly difficult.

Of course, they were in public and not in the arguable privacy of a hotel room, so he was speaking in riddles and double meanings. Usually through some difficulty Arisu could follow along. But with the state he was in, it was far too easy to be distracted by Chishiya’s collarbone peeking through the half-zipped jacket.

Or the way the sunlight was reflecting of his silver blonde hair. How plush his lips looked and how with every smirk he wondered just they would feel against his— stop. Focus Arisu.

Part of him wondered as he watched him take a sip of a neon blue drink and gaze out into the distance in a lull of the conversation if getting another drink was the answer, but alcohol was what got him into this situation in the first place.

Eventually Chishiya sighed and turned his attention back into the loose huddle they had formed, dark eyes mesmerizing.

“I’m thinking about doing something stupid.” He drawled, voice low in a way that always stirred Arisu’s terribly unfortunate crush into hyper drive.

I’m stupid. Do me please. Arisu’s hazy mind helpfully provided.

He was quickly startled from his thoughts by a spray of alcohol hitting his cheek as Kuina burst into laughter mid sip.

“Oh shit. Did I say that out loud?” he asked, face burning at the sudden realization.

Chishiya was just staring at him blankly, perfectly frozen like a statue, as Kuina was laughing uncontrollably.

Usagi patted him on the shoulder, stifling a giggle. “Yeah. Yeah, you did.”

“Cool. Cool. Cool cool cool.” He heard himself say as he stood and started to walking in a daze. “Good to know.”

The movement seemed to break through to Kuina a bit. “Stop. Stop. Where are you going?” she wheezed.

“To find Niragi. Feels like that would be quicker than waiting for the games tonight.”

There was more laughter and wheezing behind him, but he no longer had the capacity to understand. He just needed to retreat immediately. Clearly it was time to go back to bed

Kuina stared amused as the normally unflappable genius before her completely blue screened.

Never before had she seen anyone’s flabbers as fully ghasted as Chishiya’s were after Arisu’s hysterical slip of tongue.

“I’ll go make sure he makes it back to his room.” Usagi said, still chuckling, before she stood to chase after the poor embarrassed baby deer. “You handle this one.”

She wasn’t sure Chishiya had even blinked in the past minute, so rolling her eyes she leaned forward and shoved at his shoulder.

“Hey. Snap out of it.”

Chishiya blinked back into himself and looked around quickly. Realizing the others were gone, he turned to her.

“…Did he really just say—”

“That he wanted you to ‘do’ him? Yes.”

“I see…” He said.

Kuina snickered as he tried and failed acting unaffected. The slight flush on his cheeks a clear give away.

“So, what are you going to do about it Chi?” She asked, poking his forehead.

He batted her hand away. “Why would I—”

“Chishiya.” Kuina interrupted firmly. “You have been flirting with him nonstop. Its nauseating.”

I haven’t be—”

“DoN’t DiSaPpOiNt Me ArIsU~” She mocked and then cackled at the dirty look he gave her. “You’re obsessed with him. And he is clearly into you as well.”

“No. He’s with Usa—”

“Why are you such an idiot?” She sighed, exasperated at how dense he was being. “Arisu just offered himself up to you on silver platter and you’re not going to go after him? I didn’t take you for a coward.”

He again was at a loss for words, mouth opening and closing like a fish.

“… but what should I—”

“Oh my GOD! If you don’t go kiss him right know I will throw you in that pool. Don’t try me.”

♥️

Once again, Arisu found himself face down on his bed. Usagi had delivered him to his room, making sure he didn’t actually attempt to find the militant and after much pleading begrudgingly left promising to check up on him later.

He was mortified. He was never drinking again. How was he supposed to face him after this? Face any of them after asking Chishiya to— He said please.

The door opened and shut again and he groaned. “Usagi, please let me spiral in peace.”

Arisu felt the mattress sink as she sat next to him and after a put upon breath he rolled to his side to see what she—

Fuck.

His face was immediately on fire.

Chishiya was sitting next to him, on his bed, watching him curiously.

“Chishiya!” He shrieked. “Sorry I—”

He chuckled. “You keep screaming my name when you see me. I wonder if you—”

Arisu’s eyes shot wide before he covered his face with his hands in a desperate attempt to hide.

Chishiya hummed and then the bed moved again. Soft hands covered his own, pulling them away. He snapped his eyes shut in a final attempt of self-preservation but…

“Arisu~ Look at me.”

Obviously, he had no choice but to open them.

Nothing could have prepared him for sight awaiting him when he did.

Chishiya was hovering over him, lips pulled in to a soft smile, coffee eyes warm as they bore into him. His hair hanging down, framing his face. He was so pretty. I’m so gay.

He let out a startled laugh. “I see you still don’t have a filter.”

“Please kill me.”

“I could.” He mused and he looked like a cat toying with its prey before he leaned down and breath tickled his ear as Chishiya whispered. “But I have a better idea.”

A shiver ran through Arisu but before he could understand what was happening, the plush lips he had thought about an inappropriate amount brushed his own. It ended all too soon, however, Chishiya pulling back and looking down at him pleased.

“Better than death?”

It took every brain cell left to nod. Speaking out of question.

Amusement danced in his eyes as Chishiya smirked. “I thought so.”

In a fit of madness, Arisu reached up and tangled an hand in Chishiya’s hair to pull him down into another kiss. Against all reason, Chishiya went along with it, matching Arisu’s energy. When he let out a soft moan at the sting of teeth on his lips, he finally got to feel the shape of that smirk against his mouth. Though, because it seemed he hadn’t embarrassed himself enough, when Chishiya pulled back to look at him again he whined.

“Oh Arisu. What am I going to do with you?” Chishiya mused and then brought a hand up to cup his face softly. “You’re going to be a problem.”

Arisu was about to say something when there was a pounding on the door.

“Did you kiss him yet?” Kuina screamed from the hallway.

“Go away Kuina.” Chishiya called. “I’m busy.”

“Gross. You better use protection!”

Arisu choked, but Chishiya just smirked, leaning back down. “Now. Where we?”

“I—”

“That’s right. I was deciding what to ‘do’ with you.”

“Yes please.”
