A stroller rounded the corner of the aisle, followed by a woman with curious, gushing eyes. “How long have you two been together?”
Frank grinned.
Dennis stammered.
“About a year.” Frank said as Dennis overlapped with: “We’re not a couple.”
The woman’s face fell into confusion.
“We’re not doing the labels thing.” Frank bounced easily. "Except, you know, the Big D."
Dennis stared, wide-eyed.
