Summary
Hugo’s always been known for his ability to work a crowd and slip through danger unscathed. His work with Donella taught him as much.
“If you ain’t gonna make it through with your brawn's, you gotta do it with your brains.” Is what he grew up listening to. He may not be the most talented with a sword, or the highest of ranks amongst the gang, but he always got due with his intelligence. That being said.. he never had to rely on anyone other than his own instincts. The mere thought was simply foreign of an idea to him.That is, until he’s bullied into infiltrating a small duo of misfits in favour of seeking out an ancient library that Donella had been obsessed with since she was a teen. Hugo’s not good with people, never worked with one person, let alone two or three. It’s a nightmare job, but Hugo won’t complain if it means he makes her proud and gets money in the process.
