Summary
It's a bit of a learning curve, living on the surface, but it's not impossible. They've already figured out how to make housing on the surface, and there are plenty of resources to use if one is careful. Repairs are less common on the surface, and there is more to see and explore. Slowly, their settlement will grow. Slowly, they will become more comfortable living down here instead of in the sky. It'll be hard work, but thankfully they have each other, and they can always rely on the Kikwi, Parella, Mogma, and Gorons should something be unknown.
Now if only they could deal with the surge of frenzied monsters once and for all.
