Summary
Tragedy strikes the kingdom of Piltov when its crown princess, Caitlyn Kiramman, is discovered missing, presumed kidnapped by bandits. With no leads to follow and a ticking clock, the Queen has no choice but to call on her most loyal soldier, the Enforcer Knight. They can recover the princess, though the cost may be more than the Queen can pay...
As the consequences of the meeting between princess and knight reverberate through the kingdom, a web of intrigue seven years in the making begins to come undone. Neither knight nor Queen are entirely who they seem, and the secrets they hold are not content to stay buried. When a familiar enemy rises from the east, the ghosts of the past will return to haunt them all.
Amidst a tournament that hides real violence behind wooden swords, a kidnapping that began as something else entirely, and a marriage that quickly becomes more real than it was ever supposed to be, can two women find love in the most unlikely of places? And what happens when the same love that brought them together threatens to tear them apart?
