Chapter Text

Holding the baby in his arms, a pale blue, finned... thing, with tissue paper for those fins. practically glowing in the blacker than night hallway, there was a single, burning question on his mind.

"Tisha, why did you fuck my fish."
maybe a bit more than one
"HOW did you fuck my fish"
definitely more
"What am I holding, Tisha"
Clearing her throat "for propriety", Tisha curtly and disgustingly elegantly claimed, "Your Grandchild, Master Finn."
"Why am I holding my grandchild" He asked, eyes glued to the thing, the child, in his arms.
"Because, I have provided you-", before she could finish haughtily explaining the birds and the bees, there was a loud crack as the child, having fallen asleep, had dropped a small wooden block onto Finn's foot, causing watery ichor to come gushing out
There was a moment of silence between the three-or perhaps, between the two would be more appropriate-before the fishbowl finally peeled his eyes from his grandchild and glared at the woman across from him with true hate
"Provided me shit, Tisha!", careful not to stir the child, he practically whispered his shouts
"I didn't ask for my FISH to be, to be!!!", unable to put his thoughts on the unholy union into any coherent sentence, his eyes just shot between the child and the father before him.
"Uhm... Master Finn, would it not be best to allow 𝘮𝘦 to hold her while you go get that fixed?"
With unmitigated contempt, tinged with a hint of "where did I go wrong?", the fishbowl stared down at his foot
"...Go get Sprout."
"...Very well, Master Finn."

As she walked away, turned the corner, and disappeared from sight, there was only one thought on the newly born grandfathers mind.
"...Fisha"
