Shane feels the hot brand of Ilya’s stare on him as his breath catches. A wave of arousal tinged with shame rushes through him, but he schools his face back to its disapproving mask before leveling a glare on Ilya.

The smile that Ilya flashes him sends hot, electric shivers down Shane’s spine.
