Chapter Text
The day was raining, the dark clouds framing the sky just perfect,Dallas Winston, the tuffest greaser, greaser from New York to which was unique somewhat?
I was walking home from school since my mother hadn't picked me up from school that day,the rain pouring down roughly on my skin as I walked threw the territory of the socs,as my siblings called it but i just thought it was a normal neighborhood. Guess not.
The hair and clothes were wet but I backed away to the side closest to the fences anytime a car passed by,always had a fear that someone would come and snatch me up if I got close to cars passing by,always was a fear that something could happen if I didn't check...it made my uneasy so of course my stomach started to hurt, just my luck.
I sighed quietly as I weakly leaned against a fence of one of the houses in the neighborhood. A old looking beat up car passed by and I watched it stop a few seconds after it passed me,my heart sank as I tiredly pushed off the fence and ran down the wet slick from rain sidewalk,my shoes covered in wet grass as I ran in the ran,I heard a voice calling out and it made me wanna cry.
The footsteps behind me that weren't my own caught up,and hand tried to grasp me but I pulled away which resulted in me dropping to the ground due to the wetness of the sidewalk.
That's all I could remember, all I knew what happened. I was running in the running being chased but now I was somewhere, didn't know where,a messy old looking beatup room of a trailer, way different from the neat large rooms in my house, way different.
I didn't know anything about anywhere but I opened on eye a bit and glanced around I was on a couch and a boy, much older then me, must've been 15 or 16,blonde hair,an elfish face, somewhat long features, and tall, watching TV in a old armchair.
I sat up and looked at him but he hadn't noticed me yet. My clothes were mostly dry but I could feel a bit of dampness in them, I coughed on accident and my face went instantly red. The boy looked back and looked unfazed.
"Hey kid," Dallas said,I recognized him kinda since my siblings described him when they talked about 'annoying' greasers but he didn't seem all to bad..."what time is it? If you don't mind me asking," I questioned as I briefly look at him before glancing around the room "Around 6,maybe 6:28 in the afternoon. I think" Dally said as he looked at me before looking back at the TV.
My heart rate picked up as I heard him mention the time even tho I asked. 6, the time my dad came home from work which was my least favorite time of the day,all the.....just everything,my dad's presence hurt so much, hated being around him but I liked I wasn't with him,but oh god I was gonna be in so much trouble when I got home.....I hope my dad hasn't drunken to much,it'd be so much worse if he had already
"I think I need to get home, my family's probably worried...." I muttered quietly. I hadn't expected myself to be so quiet,I had never been this shy... "You don't need to,plus I wouldn't go with ya so you aren't goi'n not alone at least. And I'll make sure you don't leave, " Dally said to me as I just nodded,I stood up then quietly and slowly walked over to him and sat beside his chair. I felt a quick movement as I felt him grab me and put me onto his lap, both my hands fastly pressed against the veins on hid arms, before I pulled away in seconds. Nervous reaction.
"What's that about?" Dally asked annoyed
"Don't know,hands just slipped"
"okay man, whatever you want me to believe."
I sighed as I sat there on his lap,my ankles hanging of the right arm of the armchair. My head pressed against his chest even tho I barely knew him.
It was late,I was tired so tired I had fell asleep on Dally. I slept peacefully that nice better than I had slept in a while.....
When I had woken up I was still in the same clothes,my hair was messy from me sleeping hard, but I was laying in Dally's bed with the blanket up to my chest and Dally was laying beside me oth the other side of the bed with his shirt off and I couldn't tell if he was just wearing his boxers or shorts. Either way I didn't mind
