Mr. Puzzles sat in the front seat of the car with Mr. WPNZ, Karen had called him earlier explaining that one of her coworkers just called in sick and she needed to pick up their shift but the kids also needed to go to their doctors appointment to get their tetanus shots. Puzzles accidentally mentioned that he wasn't sure the last time he got his which prompted the former assassin to ask when his last doctors appointment was, and after telling him that he thinks his last appointment was back when he still had a human face, Mr. WPNZ decided to take his partner with him. Which brings them to now Puzzles had a secret to confess "WPNZ I need to tell you something important, please promise you won't judge" Mr. Puzzles started, Mr. WPNZ looked at him curiously. "What is it, babe?" Mr. Puzzles took a deep breath. "I'm scared of needles," Mr. WPNZ looked at his partner, surprised before he could say anything. A car honked it's horn causing WPNZ to slam his foot on the breaks just in time, too. Otherwise, they would have got t-boned Mr. WPNZ yelled at the jerk before looking back at his partner. "You sawed off your face to put a TV in it's place but you're scared of getting a shot?" Mr. WPNZ asked, wondering if he heard his boyfriend correctly, Mr. Puzzles put his TV head in his hands. "I know it doesn't make any sense, but this nonsensical fear has unfortunately plauged me since childhood." he flashed back to when he was a kid and getting a shot he cried his eyes out but his father just told him "stop that, boys don't cry" Mr. Puzzles scowled at the memory, and then he felt a hand be placed on his. He looked up to see Mr. WPNZ holding his hand "it'll be okay dear, I'm here for you and if you need to you can squeeze my hand as hard as you need" Mr. Puzzles smiled at WPNZ. His boyfriend wasn't the best at comforting others, but him telling Puzzles he'll be there was enough for him. They pulled into the driveway and picked up the kids who groaned at the fact they had to get a shot. "It'll be okay kids, it's just one little prick it won't hurt." Mr. WPNZ reassured the kids, they drove to the hospital, parked, and went in, the smell of disinfectant stung whatever Mr. Puzzles's equivalent of a nose was. WPNZ approached the front desk and talked to the receptionist. A moment later, they sat in the waiting room. The kids watched the fish on the fake fish tank swim around as Mr. Puzzles anxiously bounced his leg Mr. WPNZ then put his hand on Puzzles's, Puzzles took WPNZ's hand in his. Before he could say anything, their names were called Mr. WPNZ reassuringly nodded his head. They were then led into an examination room and waited the doctor, then came into the room. "So you kids are here for your tetanus shots?" The doctor asked "yep" Mr. WPNZ replied as he placed Zack on his lap "alright kiddo you're just gonna feel a little pinch," the doctor said, approaching Zack with a needle. Mr. Puzzles turned his head before the doctor injectioned the child, Zack proceeded to let out a small whimper "and done" the doctor said WPNZ congratulated Zack on how well he did as the doctor handed him a lolipop, then it was Katie's turn after the doctor injected her, she began to cry but then the doctor gave her a lollipop and she stopped "see after you get a shot you get to have a treat" WPNZ stated, next was Cory he made a pained meme noise but quickly stopped as he received his lolipop, the doctor then picked up his clipboard and turned to face Puzzles "you're also here to get caught up on your vaccines?" Mr. Puzzles looked up at the man and swallowed nervously "heh heh yep" he looked over at his boyfriend who gave him a encouraging smile and a thumbs up "you need 30 injections and your blood drawn" the doctor said calmly "what!?" Mr. Puzzles and Mr. WPNZ both thought to themselves, "Yep says so right here," the doctor said, pointing to his clipboard. Mr. Puzzles punched the doctor in the face and ran out the door and down the hall, whooping as he ran, WPNZ got out of his chair but before he could catch up to his partner a loud crash was heard, WPNZ looked out to see that his boyfriend had jumped out the window. A couple hours later, Mr. WPNZ and Mr. Puzzles returned home, WPNZ made the two bowls of ice cream after dinner "at least it didn't hurt as much as the glass?" WPNZ asked with sincerity in his voice "my casts itch" Puzzles replied through a mouth full of ice-cream, after he jumped out of the window he broke his arm and a leg but at least WPNZ was there to kiss it better.
