What the watchers left behind.

Summary:

Banished. Or really. Xelquas left with two choices, either try to rejoin life as a "human" or rejoin the watchers, the very beasts that banished him from the watchers end. Nothing was real. Nothing mattered. Not since the very family as Xelqua called them got banished as well.

Notes:

Chapter Text

Xelqua. Because of your dishonest actions and unjust behavior, the council have decided to banish you from the Watchers End. You may rejoin once realizing your mistakes and formally rejoin the council as a new member”

Xelquas breath hitched, no one has been banished since Moon and Xanthus, the other primordial whom Xelqua had deemed family.

"Yes head watcher Xzyly" His voice rang out, sore from disuse.

"You should be disappointed in yourself Xelqua. You out of all watchers are who we never expected to disobey the Watchers, just like the other Primordials. Though I should have expected this, seeing as the other primordial took the same path you did." Xzyly crooned in his ear.

"From today to whenever you rejoin, no going close to the Watchers end. Goodbye Xelqua, your a traitor just like the others"

That was the last thing Xelqua heard before the void surrounded him fully and he couldn't breathe.

When he awoke, he was back in his old base. Everything was destroyed and left the way it was when he got taken away. How many years had passed? No longer he was in his Primordial outfit, but the outfit he wore when he got taken. His eyes now resembled void instead of green.

Outside was different, everything was left how it was that fateful day. He remembered how he was forced to watch as everything went up in flames, how everyone died. Walking around felt weird. It wouldn't be like before, he knew but at least it wasn't like when he got taken. His old communicator lay abandoned and cracked on the same spot he spawned in.

Turning it over revealed a message from Pearl dated seven years ago. "Grian, I am sorry that I could not be there to save you from the watchers. I am safe at the moment but I am unsure about the others except for Martyn and Jimmy, who took Zee and ran. I am currently on XisumaVoids server, but since I am unsure of where you are, I am leaving this message as a precaution, many of the server members have trauma associated to watchers and would not approve of your presence on the server. I hope to see you again"

He decided to walk around the world a bit, pausing at certain members bases. Pearls was fully dystroyed, Zee's was left half gone, and everyone elses was in varying degrees of degradation. He sat down next to a creek, and remembered that he was fully alone. Pearl was on whoever XisumaVoids server was, and Martyn and Timmy were somewhere and the rest were unknown.

For an odd reason the floor reopened, but this time his wings were able to open back up and safely land him. Looking in a new river he realized he was in watcher form again. He couldn't be seen in this form, everyone knew Xelqua.

But alas, it was too late. As someone screamed and ran away. He remembered how big he was in this form, around 3x bigger than his Evolution self. Watchers were naturally bigger, seeming as their wings were much bigger, at least 35 feet fully extended. He couldn't hide in this form, but couldn't change.

"Mumbo whats-oh dear" A voice rang out.

Xelqua froze, seeing that he was 3x bigger than the normal player and was staring at the creek wasn't the greatest idea. Suddenly his body locked up, and he felt himself get teleported away from the creek, judging by the bustle of redstone machine.

“Xisuma, whats going on?" Someones voice rang out. and than gasped when they saw Xelquas body pinned under watcher magic spells.

Xelqua tried to struggle, just to prove he wasn't dead but the magic spells were really powerful. He flinched back into a small ball that he realized he couldn't move from because of said magic blockers.

"This is a watcher, and judging by his size I am betting hes a Primordial" Xisumas voice rang out which produced gasps from the surrounded audience.

Xelqua tried to transform back, into anything really. But nothing happened and he felt pain each time he tried.

"Why isn't he attacking. Even with the blockers you'd expect a primordial out of all watchers to be powerful" Cleo asked and laughed a bit.

"Thats what I don't know. When Mumbo found him, he was staring at his reflection in the river and didn't even react to the blockers."

Xelqua mentally sighed and shifted around, finally getting up from a fetal position and sitting up. There was around 20 people staring at him, some looking disgusted and others looking scared. He didn't know why they looked scared, he never attacked them. Never even lay a finger on them.

"Tell us who you are, and stop pretending to be silent." Cleo shouted as they brandished a sword and pointed it at his face.

"Cleo, he doesn't have to if he doesn't want to." Xisuma replied in a calm voice.

"He does. He could attack us at any moment."

"Than why didn't he. Why didn't this watcher who is probably a primordial, not attack us and totally looks defenseless. We literally found him staring at himself in the river." Mumbo half shouted back at Cleo.
