Summary
Lucy gets offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: going undercover for arguably one of the most influential men in California to bring his missing daughter home. The FBI warns her that it’s six months with zero contact with their loved ones. She tells Tim, who doesn’t take it well. He volunteers to be her handler, staying the duration of those months with Kojo.
Instead of somewhere like Las Vegas, with the bright lights and potential bathroom hookups, they go to a place so private and secluded that it doesn’t show on the map. Will they make it out of the six months without letting lingering feelings get in the way? And most importantly will they make it out alive? Each chapter is one month, a story in seven parts for the six months they’re actively on the case.
