Chapter Text
It was around 10 days after Toilet went to go visit MePhone4, knowing he might not come back to the hotel in a few weeks.
It all was pretty fun if you asked the two, they were chatting about the past, the show and all the other things that they had feared forever to ever face, but atleast it worked all fine in the end. Just as the two buddies were talking about Steve Cobs or 'The Corn Man', MePhone4 had stumbled Toilet with a question.
'Where did you come from? Who are your Parents? How did you become an assistant?' MePhone4 had questioned Toilet those three questions while chatting and eating a pile of leftover cookies, probably expired, but he can't even get sick from it, right?
The land went silent, Toilet didn't know how to reply, surely it must been that he just overworked himself that time he forgot. But even if he did forget it from overworking, wouldn't he be able to remember it at all? Toilet had realized it in just a few seconds, he never remembered any relatives or parents at all. He never knew how was he chosen to be an assistant, and of course he never knew how did he come to this world. 'I-uhm, I don't really know.' Toilet stuttered in a film of confusion and fear in his eyes, why was he so scared of replying that anyway?
'Oh well, I did find this cool laboratory, doesn't look like it was Test Tubes one though, so I thought we could explore it! We don't really have much stuff to do here at all, it's kinda boring staying here, don't you think?' MePhone suggested to Toilet. 'I'm also going to bring 3GS as well, so it can feel like a small family reunion!' He had also added up to the suggestion.
Toilet tried to play cool and played along with MePhone4's suggestion, replying that he would accept the fun trip there and actually have fun, since that theres also nothing to do in a small home in the middle of a forest.
They all took what felt like hours for one little stroll, when all that was in their mind was imaginations of the rising skies. They each talked about something the skies felt like it was reminding and gifting it all. Toilet started first, describing how the skies reminded him of MePad, the violet and cyan streaks in the skies that reminded him of MePad's face, the stars and clouds as the little white dots and divots on his face. All of it made Toilet cry 27.63% of the Goiky Canal. 4 went next, saying how it felt like the Steve was the sun, the bright but oh so hurtful brightness it had, like how manipulative Steve was. 3GS had nothing in his mind, he just went along and rambled about how long it felt like.
After what felt like hours passing a gift in a birthday party on the clock, 4 had found a small bunker called 'Waffle Laboratory'. 'What a stupid name for a lab, I could eat the entire building if it was made out of it's name!' 4 Chuckled as the lights of the lab kept on dimming down to the point where the sun can't give energy to it.
The three decided to explored the corridors
The corridor was just the end of a room that was made of concrete. This corridor was really dirty and quiet. The doors to the laboratory were made of metal. They were a little bit open. You could barely see the warning signs on these doors because they were so dirty.
When they went inside the laboratory it did not smell good. The laboratory smelled like things and chemicals and electricity that was not being used. It felt like the machines in the laboratory had just stopped working.
There were a lot of desks in the laboratory. They were all knocked over. There was broken glass and old papers and wires over the floor. The lights in the laboratory were not working well. They were making a buzzing sound. They were not very bright. The shadows, on the walls were not even. They were moving around.
In one part of the laboratory there was a computer screen. This screen was. It had old green text on it. Nobody had touched this computer screen in a long time. The laboratory was an old and dirty place.
Toilet had wandered a bit too far, going into a pile of papers and read books. He didn't know where 4 nor 3GS was. He decided to stay silent and just wait until they found him. 4 and 3GS noticed right after Toilet had just wandered far away. 'WHERES TOILET?' 4 Yelled at the concrete walls. The two rushed to search for him, unaware of the mental danger poor Toilet was going to step into.
Toilet found a pile of papers, each saying about experiments in numbers. It took a while until he stumbled on one single experiment. 'Experiment 218'.
Before the chaos, Toilet could feel blurred out memories from the lab, seeping through his porcelain body.
Then he read it.
'EXPERIMENT 218, FAILURE' That statement sat in his mind, unable to flee away and just be forgotten the next few days of the aftermath. There next to that strand of words, was an image of his 'old self'. A little object, but it was covered in ink.
He started to lose breath uncontrollably, starting to be grateful to breathe air, but why should he be grateful? The struggles slowly turned into relentless hiccuping and small divots of water running down his eyes. 'No, no, it CAN'T BE.' Toilet repeated as he panicked through the door. The small divots of water? Decomposed into a huge river that ants can ride ferrys in. Small drops of tears started to peep through the door. 4 and 3GS realized this and rushed to the door. Only to find Toilet weeping endlessly.
'T-Toilet? Are you okay?' The two Meeple devices asked him.
Toilet didn't answer, if he said no, he would look like a crybaby, if he said yes, then how will others find out the truth? All the thoughts swirled like an endless carousel in the dark. Then he peeped out
'Yes, I'm fine.'
'Okay, whatever oats your root beer floats!' 4 Chanted, relieved.
Toilet couldn't bear to tell a single word about the truth anymore.
