"I’m not gonna do anything you don’t want me to,” he told Akutagawa gently, “I would never do anything to you that you didn’t want me to, okay? I just want to help, that’s all. I’ll be gentle. I—I’ll make you feel good, I promise.” His heart was hammering in his chest again.
Akutagawa’s response comes out in shaky sobs. “I can’t, Jinko—you don’t understand—my body—”
“Is it because you’re sick? I’ll be careful, I promise. I just want you to get better, Akutagawa."
The other man shivered at the usage of his name, and didn’t say anything. His wrists were small and bony, and Atsushi could wrap his fingers all the way around them. He stared down at Akutagawa’s hands; his carefully manicured fingers were trembling, the callouses on his palms seeming almost out of place against his porcelain flesh. Without thinking, he lifted Akutagawa’s hand, and kissed his knuckles gently.
Akutagawa stared at him with disbelief, his face still a pretty pink, lips parted. Atsushi met his hazy grey eyes.
“It won’t ever go away if you don’t let someone help,” Atsushi said gently, “Please let me help, baby.”
