Summary
An original story set in the early 2000s of Eastern Europe.
András, a 16 years old boy born and raised in the blocks by a single mother from a disadvantaged background, has been trying to fit in his whole life. His mother has always told him he needs to study well, work hard, and he would have a place in this world. But fitting in is not always easy when one doesn't present the way society expects one to.
András decides to study hairdressing, and being the only boy in the class, finally makes friends for the first time in his life. He is often mistaken for one of the girls, but it doesn't bother him at all, and he wears it as a badge of honour.
But once he forms a friendship with a boy from another class who is his exact opposite in every way, he doesn't just start questioning gender, but also his sexuality.
I've written this story as a gift to my bestie Kaz! So in this one, the characters end up together, and there's happy ending to all characters involved! Illustrated by both Kaz and by yours truly.
