   Summary

   Grace thought he had adjusted well enough to life on Erid. He had his best friend, a biodome for himself, a job, and he was not dying, which was a pleasant bonus. Everything had worked out, and he was content living the rest of his life among the Eridians, until they detected a strange, impossible transmission from a starless patch of the universe, and Grace just had to look into it.

   Simon wonders why he ever accepted to be part of the convict realization program in the first place, when he knew full well they would have just sent him to die.
   He just wanted to live.

   Despite being universes apart, they were Seen. Through signals, they met.

   ------
   OR: Grace and Rocky track a distress signal from a human not far from Erid and get wormhole'd straight into the Iron Lung universe. No one is happy about this, especially Grace who's very much not prepared to deal with -gestures broadly- THIS.

   Loosely inspired by The Great Tribulation by aloremrem, thanks to them this went from 'Simon gets thrown onto the Hail Mary' to 'Grace and Rocky get sent to hell'. The plot is different, but the inspiration is there so I'm crediting aloremrem anyway.
