Summary
Hermione Dagworth Granger wants nothing to do with the suffocating politics of the Ministry of Magic. Content to brew complex potions in the safety of the lower levels, she avoids the endless power struggles that threatened to tear their fragile society apart. When the dangerously captivating traditionalist leader, Tom Riddle, decides she belongs to him, Hermione is dragged directly into the centre of a political bloodbath.
