   Summary

   What if Savage never found his brother?
   Upon finding the mangled living corpse of his Master's killer, Obi-Wan is presented with a choice that shakes his understanding of the Force and the principles of the Order - kill Maul and take the easy way out, or truly face the cycle of violence and help him instead?

   AU in which Savage never finds his way to Maul and it is instead Obi-Wan who discovers him. Making the pious choice seems easy to the Jedi around him, but hurt is an ugly thing and love a bloodthirsty one. While saving him is the 'Jedi' thing to do, Obi-wan is awash with regret and grappling with feelings he thought he'd left behind a long time ago. Does he believe in the principles of the Jedi Order enough to believe they can reach even Darth Maul?
