    While Ilya is in Russia handling family matters, he and Shane stay in constant contact, with Shane quietly struggling with loneliness and exhaustion from training. Thinking Ilya won’t return for another week, Shane breaks down after a phone call where he finally admits how much he misses him. Moments later, Ilya unexpectedly shows up at his door early. Overwhelmed, Shane collapses into tears, and Ilya immediately grounds him, holding him through the panic and calming him down before carrying him to bed, finally back where he belongs.
