Summary
It was never meant to end like this. It had gone from a dangerous battle, but one they were sure to win, to their enemies decimated with Bilbo lying cold and still on the icy cliff. In the aftermath of the battle, unable to bear haunting the halls where he was consumed by his gold sickness, Thorin left Erebor. He knew not where he was travelling, only that he could no longer stay in that infernal mountain.
After months on the road, Thorin's path led him back to the one place he never thought he’d see again: Bag End. Only to get there to find a lost little faunt looking for his uncle. -
