Work Text:
Today was No way and Wheel’s 1 month anniversary of being together. Wheel wanted to take No way somewhere special, somewhere private.
Fortunately, he knew just the spot. It was a calming secluded beach. He went there for alone time and almost never saw anyone there. It was perfect for the two of them!

No way was sitting under a tree, resting. They listened to the leaves of the tree rustling from the wind.
Then footsteps came up.
“No way! Wake up!” Wheel chimed, collapsing onto his knees in front of the street sign.
“Hmmm…? Wheel..?” No way hummed, opening their eyes. “What is it…?” They sat up, facing Wheel directly.
“I have a surprise for you. It looks best when you see it at a specific time— let’s go.” Wheel rushed, pulling them up. No way kept their hand in his as he started walking speedily.
No way stumbled a little, trying to keep up with Wheel. “Hey slow down…” No way asked wearily.

After a few moments of walking, No way started to wonder what this surprise even was. And why is it so far?
From what they could see, Wheel was determined to take them there. It must be something good if it takes all this rushing, right?
But No way knew, even if it were an abandoned house with a serial killer inside it, they would enjoy it.
Because Wheel was there with him. That’s all that mattered.

“Under construction?!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!” Wheel fumed, “HOW CAN A BEACH BE UNDER CONSTRUCTION?!” He yelled, kicking a rock.
“Is this where you wanted to take me?” No way wondered. “Yeah, I wanted to take you somewhere nice— have some alone time… y’know?” Wheel groaned, crossing his arms.
“…Alone time?” No way blushed, “But Wheel, we are alone.” No way notified him. Wheel seemed to take this to consideration, “Oh— yeah I guess we are.” He chuckled softly.
“I just wanted you to experience… This place… With me.” Wheel stammered. “Oh, Wheel… We don’t have to be somewhere special to enjoy each other’s presence!” No way smiled, “I was happy to just walk with you in the first place.”
No way hugged Wheel, who then wrapped his arms around them. “You’re right.” Wheel smiled.
“I still feel the need to gift you something. Maybe something a little more private?” Wheel grinned.
“What do you mean by that—“ No way gasped.
