After walking into the enclosed space of Teru’s room, he can only help but notice the piles of used clothes lying on the floor. He shuffles his feet towards it, sighing at the amount of hefty activities.
Teru spends most of his time not only washing and pointing his clothes to the appropriate places, but cleaning dishes, replacing sheets of a bed, and sanitizing the room never before.
As Teru gazes upon the room now sparkling, he suddenly scrunches his nose is frustration. He can’t leave this beauty of a sterilized room go to waste! Why not have friends over?…
Teru smugs, setting a hand on his hip and flipping open a contact of his… great friend… Shou. He lets the phone dial for as long as he wants, waiting for that familiar, “What do you want!” But it never comes back. He scoffs, “Bullshit, he’s never busy.”
Calling again, Shou finally answers back, “I’m busy! What do you want.”
Teru sighs drastically, “Yeah, you’re busy playing games. Come over at my place? I just cleaned it sooo…”
“Sooo hell yeah I’m coming! And I was busy! Just now I swear,” Shou rolls his eyes playfully, laughing softly before ending the call. That click lets Teru know he’s coming soon.
“Open up! Or I’ll burst in here myself!” The sound of Shou’s voice not only gets muffled by the door, but by the unbearable amount of knocking.
Teru opens up the door, seeing Shou in the process of blowing up the door. Teru quickly deflects the upcoming attack from Shou. Shou laughs at the moment, earning a smile from Teru.
“Were you about to blow my house down because you wanted to come in?” Teru leads the ginger in.
Shou strides down the hallway, “No…”
They both laugh and chat for the time being, playing games like poker face or Shou’s idea, play fight. Teru’s ideas though, much more funner.
“How do you place it?!” Shou oozes the black goo onto his index finger, glaring at the mirror with confusion.
Teru was placing a black peel off mask with rather precision, unlike the boy next to him, “You just spread it over your face, like me.”
“Like me! Like me!” Shou blabbers, mocking Teru before bumping his hip humorously.
“Just sayin’?”
“Yeah, yeah…”
After the masks dried, Teru peels off the mask skillfully, revealing shining porcelain-like skin. Shou glares at the scene before him, tearing off the mask.
“OWWWWWCHHHHH!!!!!!”
Teru jumps slightly before laying a hand on his hip.
“Really?”
Shou’s face was red and burning. He grumbled knowing his face was hurting like hell.
Teru sighs, shaking his head, “Does your face hurt?”
“No…”
Teru touches it before Shou flinches and pulls away, sensitive to his pointing.
“So it does hurt?”
Shou’s voice raises an octave, almost yelling, “I’m not weak! It’s fine.”
Teru shakes his head, knowing him too well. He walks to the fridge, opening it, and grabbing a cabinet full of ice cubes. He shuts the fridge door close with his heel before turning back to Shou. Shou, which was seen rubbing his face in disappointment, spins to see Teru.
Teru grabs an ice cube, running the cooling liquid over his face. Shou blushes softly before letting himself sigh in relief.
“See? Feel better?” Teru says.
“Yeah… feels great actually,” Shou responds wholeheartedly.
After fixing Shou’s small problem, midnight stuck, signaling sleep.
“Dang it. Wish I could stay longer,” Shou’s shoulders slumps down as he drags his feet to the door.
“WAIT! You can sleep over. I have extra clothes,” Teru insists.
“Oh, word?”
“Yeah! C’mere.”
Teru lends Shou some pajamas and he changes in the bathroom.
While coming out, Shou peers out to see Teru scratching his head in a perplexed look. Teru looks around, wondering if he should let them both sleep in the same bed or if one of them should sleep on the floor.
“What’s going on?” Shou steps out.
“Nothing… you don’t mind sleeping on tbe floor right?” Teru taps his chin, turning to Shou.
“What! I’m the guest! Give me the bed!” Shou runs over to Teru, shaking his shoulders.
“Woah! Chill! It’s my bed! I should take it,” Teru raises his hands in defense before leaving a suggestion.
“How about we share?”
Shou stops shaking Teru, raising an eyebrow, “Share?”
“Yeah! We could fit,” Teru nods.
“Hm… sure. Why not.”
During the night, they laughed, talked, and joked around until drifting to sleep. It was cold that night, luring Shou to turn over and face Teru. His breath stayed slow and steady, further showing his unconsciousness. Teru shifts slightly, scooting closer to Shou until their face to face.
Teru found it more comfortable to raise a hand over Shou, leaving it hung around his waist and to his back. Shou shuffles to this warmth, curling into his body. Teru holds Shou closer, leading to both of them having a warm night together that day.
