Sensing more questions inbound, Iida sighed, “I promise, I am completely fine you two.”
Neither looked particularly convinced, glancing at each other with a kind of knowing look.
“We believe you but…” Midoriya began.
“This just seems really out of character for you, can’t you tell us?” Uraraka finished for him.
He looked at the twin puppy dog eyed stares aimed at him and paused before shaking his head, “I assure you that there is nothing wrong with me, you don’t need to worry.”

16 years ago, after her daughter's birth, Tang Shen came clean to Hamato Yoshi that she didn't love him romantically. Yoshi was hurt but he didn't force her to stay with him, but they moved to New York and decided to live in different homes and co-parent Karai. Tang Shen began to expand her world views, by traveling to museums and learning about the great artists of the renaissance. One day while she was out, she was kidnapped and sent to a testing facility where she was mutated against her will.
Thankfully she broke out, but she didn't break out alone.
This is basically an Au to my own Au lol.
