Chapter Text
You remember the day that you will never forget.
You remember that you were playing in the dirt making dirt castles, you were very bored and you were zoned out.
This day was a boring and horrible day, at the morning you tried to go to the playground by your school but the big kids just block you and say "this is for people who are normal" You obliviously got mad and you tried to hit them but they push you to the ground which ruined your nice new clothes. They laughed and spit on your face and called you a immortal freak and then left.
So you were just in your backyard, playing with the dirt because nobody will call you a freak there.
You were so zoned out that you didn't hear your mom approaching. Suddenly, she shouted, "Reader Cookie!" The volume of her voice finally brought you to her. "What did I say about playing in the dirt?!" Your mom says as you got up.
"Sorry mom" you say and you realized that your new clothes is still dirty.
"Now Look at you, your new clothes that I BOUGHT is dirty" She says as she grabs your arm and pulls you home. "You're staying inside for now on because of that young lady." Your mom says, but you try to speak "But mom-" but she cuts you off with "No buts. You are also going to read a lot of chapter books because of that"

3 hours later you were in your bed with nice clean clothes and nice hair. You were pouting because 1. you can't go outside 2. you have to read a chapter books no picture books and 3. You got spit on the face. You're mom brings you a book about dragons. You look at the book and look at her.
"I'm going to be eazy with you so I want you to read about dragons" she says. "But aren't dragons not real?" You say. "Yes but some people want to make rumors and myths about dragons" she says. "Now I want you to finish this by the end of the month, okay?" She says. You didn't want to but you know you don't have no choice. "Okay mom" you say and she gives you a kiss on the cheek "remember to sleep at 10 pm" she says as she leaves.
You decided to read the book a little and you love the book now because of its fascinating stories about the dragons and there was a little bit of pictures in the book that shows what a dragon looks like and they look beautiful.
Anyways, You didn't want to sleep because you have a lot of energy so you decided to make a plan. You pretend to sleep when your mom checks on you at 10:05 pm. (Like she always does) 30 minutes later when she falls asleep, you quickly but quietly left your bed, you put your mom cloak on that is on the kitchen, and you go outside.

The Village streets were very empty, you thought that this wasn't a good idea but you didn't care. You decided to go to the playground that you always wanted to go to that is by your school.
You always wanted to go to the playground but sadly the big kids always block you because of the same reason over and over again. But luckily it's the middle of the night so you went to the playground and play.
You made sandcastle, you go up and down the slide and you play hopscotch.
Eventually You were on the swings, going as high as you can. "Weeee" you say as you jump off the swing because you saw the big kids do it and they landed perfectly. But you didn't land perfectly, instead you landed on the grass hard on one of your knees "Owww....." you say, you check if you got a scratch and you did get a scratch on your right knee which hurt a lot.
You tried to get up but suddenly a big crash hits the ground which made you jump. You look at the direction of the sound and it was coming from the forest.
"Ah!" You say as you jump, and immediately you wince because your knee hurts a lot now because of the jump. You look at the direction the sound is coming from. You look around, confused, because nobody heard it. You guess that everyone is a deep sleeper now these days.
Anyways you were thinking if you go to the sound, but you remember your mom words she always says to you "curiosity killed the cat" you always wonder what it means but you also think that maybe someone is hurt in the forest and needs help.
So you eventually walk limping as you go to the forest.

The forest was very quiet and kinda scary, you walk quietly but quickly to the sound because you were afraid, heck you don't know if there's somebody there.
5 minutes later you were trembling because of how cold it was and how scary it was, you were still limping and you want to go home until you saw someone, they were laying down on the grass and look terribly injured, like they fall from the sky. "Huh?" You say quietly as you move quietly and you saw them.
You saw that they have white hair (which was the longest hair you ever seen), gray skin, and their hands were black. They also have white clothes and have gold on, but they are a little bit dirty because of the dirt. They're the same hight as you but you saw that they are a little bit taller so maybe they are a little bit older than you.
They have a horn from their head that goes to its back. They have white eyelashes but you can't see their eyes because it was closed and there was 4 golden orbs that is by it and the orbs eyes were closed.
They look like a dragon but you thought in your head "no they can't be, dragons are just fairly tails like mom told me and they don't have a tail or wings"
You tried to get closer to see better but you trip on a stick which it breaks and they immediately wake up and they look at you. You immediately freeze because their eyes (including the 4 golden orbs) look at you like it was looking at your soul. Their eyes were black and they have cat like yellow pupils. They began to speak and their voice brings a shiver down your spine.
"Who are you?"
